Blog Journal #10

      I actually really enjoyed working on this assignment! At first, I thought it was a lot of work for one assignment, but after I got started I realized it was pretty easy. It did take me a while to complete this project just because I kept having to start over. Other than that, I overall liked this assignment. I learned a lot about PowerPoint while working on this. For example, I didn't even know you could turn off the next slide navigation and have it follow your links. Next time I would like to just be more creative with the project. After I finished creating it I realized there was so much more I could have added to make it better.     I am not too sure how I will use data collection tools as a teacher. I think the most I will use it for is maybe going over a lesson and attempting to gain feedback afterward. I hope to teach 3rd or 4th grade, so maybe I will find a way to incorporate surveys into my teaching. Using data collecting tools was easier tha...

    So far I have actually really enjoyed this class. I have been doing this class completely online, and it has been the easiest class of this semester for me. All the assignments are decently easy and pretty straightforward so it's kind of relaxing to be able to work for this class. Even the assignments that take more effort to complete are still not as difficult as some of my other classes, and I absolutely love that. Also, I love how easy communication is for this class, I don't have to wait days or weeks for a response and that makes this class a lot easier too. When I'm a teacher, I hope to run my class about the same, I know how it is to have such difficult classes and not know what you're doing, and I don't want to do that for my future classroom.      Open education resources (OER) are educational resources that are openly available for teachers and students in order to provide help for teaching and learning.
